For World Cancer Day on 4th February 2026 we are celebrating the work of three members of the Northern Ireland Cancer Research Consumer Forum who have shared their stories of being involved in cancer research and clinical trials. Alan Abernethy shares how being part of a clinical trial saved his life, Ken McBride tells us how he became involved in PPI so that he could give back to research and Tim Kerr highlights that patients can shape the future of research making it as good as it can be.
