Exciting times last week when the INSPIRE study was launched in College Hall, RCSI, Dublin. It was a very positive and uplifting day, and a great opportunity to come together to mark this important all-island collaboration. The strength of the study and the collective effort behind it was very clear throughout the programme.
This new all-island study in prostate cancer, INSPIRE aims to minimise side effects while maintaining excellent radiotherapy treatment outcomes for patients. It is expected that the large scale study will be practice changing and life changing for patients. Northern Ireland Cancer Trials Network proudly supports the study and sites will include Belfast HSC Trust and Western HSC Trust.
